Adding an account to outlook 2016
Manually configure account settings (POP, IMAP, Send Only Account).Check create a new folder where imported email, with subfolders will be stored.Enter Display name, email account, and password. To be fair, I’m not sure if this works because I have Office 365 Home or if it works for everyone, but give it a shot. The only thing is each account will appear as a folder in your main Outlook (Hotmail, MSN, etc.) account. The second solution is a bit odd, but it works well too because one can also check your Hostgator accounts by logging into. Once you see the General window from step 5 above, click OK.This should test the account successfully.
Once back in POP or IMAP Account Settings. When you choose this encryption type, make sure the Ports have remained as indicated by your Hostgator settings because mine changed for some reason. Use the following type of encrypted connection: SSL/TLS on both.
